A largely pictorial journey through parkour, freerunning, skateboarding and BMX by award winning photographer Jonathan Lucas. The author is a designer and photographer based in Shoreditch, London and has worked with many of the leading proponents of urban sport, notably freerunning founder Sébastien Foucan and leading traceur Daniel Ilabaca. Jonathan's quest in photographing these athletes was to present the movement in an inspiring and often unique way, in the hope that others may feel motivated to make their own path.
My specialisms include action photography (parkour, freerunning and football, BMX, etc.), light-painting, reportage and landscapes.
I have exhibited my work in London's National Theatre and have had my work variously published around the world.
I love typography, words and the power of humour.
